The primary goal of this site is to provide extensive detail on the time, effort, costs, and parts involved in building a 1969 Camaro g-machine/resto-mod. While there are plenty of other, more sophisticated builds than this one, I think this project should serve as a decent example of what a novice can do in his own garage. The secondary goal for this site is to give back to the Chevrolet and Camaro communities for all the great information they gave me during the life of the project via online forums, websites, and friendly chats at the car shows.  I doubt I could ever thank them enough.  I only hope that current and potential '67-'69 Camaro owners along with performance parts enthusiasts can use this site as another great source of information.  Please feel free to leave comments or ask questions in the Guestbook, or you can contact me directly.  Thanks for visiting!

> CHP October 2009 Cover -
Holy sh_t!  Chevy High Performance chose my car to be on the cover of their October '09 edition and gave it a 5 page feature inside.  Unbelievable.  It's an incredible honor for me and the car.  I can't thank CHP and photographer Wes Allison enough for giving my homebuilt Camaro that type of coverage.  I guess it proves that the little guy does get noticed sometimes and that everybody's got a shot.

September 2009                                       My unsponsored opinions of good people and/or products!
I turned to Detroit Speed & Engineering for my hood hinges, wiper motor kit, RS electric headlamp door kit, steel dash insert, billet pedals, and billet knobs.  All the parts are top quality and the included instructions were very helpful.  They were also very helpful over the phone and were nice enough to offer me a free dash vent for their steel dash which I happily accepted.  Also, when I chat with them at the car shows, they're one of the few vendors that seem genuinely interested in chatting and hearing about my project and not just about my next purchase.  I highly recommend them.
I turned to Classic Industries for hundreds of parts necessary to complete my project.  Fortunately for me, they are only located about 75 minutes away so I was able to make road trips and pick up large batches of parts without having to pay shipping.  You can see all the parts, part numbers, etc, that I used in the Project Details section of this site.  Classic Industries' sales staff was always very friendly and helpful, and their customer service when it comes to things like returns and exchanges is excellent.  Plus. they frequently offer 20% discounts, so their prices are very competitive.  I highly recommend them.
